Bravo Introduces Sure/Fire Surge Protection Building Blocks Providing Bulletproof Armor for Customer Defined Networks

San Jose, CA -- September 20, 2004-- Bravo Communications, Inc. has introduced an innovative approach to surge and lightning protection for protecting and securing customer defined networks. Employing a Sure/Fire Four-Port Building Block ('HUB") as the basic element in a customer's surge protection design, additional blocks or hubs may be stacked vertically and horizontally for virtually an unlimited number of surge protected devices for Telecom, Datacom, LAN or Proprietary Network Installations. These building blocks are easily interconnected for port expansion and a key advantage is "single-point" grounding and electrical bonding for all interconnected building blocks and their attached equipment.

In order to provide customers with a flexible surge and lightning protection building block, the Sure/Fire hubs allow being organized and installed in any manner by stacking, racking, wall mounting or din-rail attachment of any number of Telecom, Datacom, LAN and I/O Control Signal Hubs in any physical configuration. Additionally, the Hub faceplates may be color coded to define the type of phone line, data interface, LAN or I/O signal connection in the Corporate Network infrastructure.

The Bravo Sure/Fire Hubs come with a wide selection of connector styles including RJ45, terminal block, DB9, DB25 and various coax styles. Connector styles can also be mixed within the building block itself and four building block Hubs will fit horizontally within a 19.0" rack. Most models feature port status lights that demonstrate active port protection. The Bravo Hub comes with 4 possible and convenient grounding locations for attaching a grounding wire or grounding/mounting bracket. Every Hub comes complete with a grounding wire, two grounding/mounting brackets and rubber feet for easy installation.

"These surge protection building blocks provide the necessary tools for securing and maintaining a company's information highway and production processes," said Dennis Mozingo, President of Bravo Communications, Inc.. "The built-in flexibility plus the 25K Amp bulletproof armor provided by the Bravo building block architecture, allows it to be utilized for both inter-building and intra- building networks. More than ever before, IT managers, MIS managers, equipment installers, call center managers, system integrators and production management, are demanding new methods of achieving information security, preventing data loss, equipment damage and downtime, while finding ways to increase information access and productivity."

Ranging in price from under $25.00 per port, the Sure/Fire building block hub is primarily targeted at OEMs, VARs, Fortune 1000 Companies and key Distributor channels. For more information, contact us directly at our factory 1-800-GO-BRAVO or 408-297-8700 or sales@bravobravo.com.
