Aerobahn 8 delivers a number of new features and capabilities to enable airlines, airports and air navigation service providers to further improve efficiency and collaboration across the airport.

Aerobahn has been in use for over 10 years, delivering more than 12 million user hours to a set of licensed users that has nearly doubled in the past two years. The newest release of Aerobahn, Version 8, is now available and incorporates a number of updates and new features, including:

--  Automated Report Retrieval that enables users to automate the export of any data from Aerobahn directly into their proprietary systems

--  Automated Rule-based Workflow Transitions that employs Aerobahn's Dynamic Rules Engine for automatic workflow monitoring

The Aerobahn Product Suite (Surface Manager, Departure Manager, Airport Status Dashboard and De-icing Manager) is improving the efficiency and collaboration of airport authorities, airlines and air navigation service providers. It is the industry's most widely-deployed airport operations management system, currently in use at 25 airports world-wide, including five of the 10 busiest airports in the U.S. (Atlanta, Denver, New York - JFK, Charlotte and Phoenix International Airports). Aerobahn played a key role in Atlanta achieving their lowest level of delays in 2012 since measurement began in 1990.

"We have evolved Aerobahn from a singularly-focused tool that provided situational awareness into a growing suite of modular, yet integrated capabilities that address specific collaboration and efficiency needs," said Ken Kaminski, general manager of Saab ATM. "In this update, we address our customers' desire for greater workflow management and wider access to data."
