Suncor Stainless Inc. Adds New Larger Sizes and a Stronger Design to Their Eye Slip Hooks
Plymouth, MA — Suncor Stainless, Inc. has expanded their line of stainless steel eye slip hooks to include 3 large sizes, as well as a redesigned look. This new design offers added strength, while the increased sizes allow for use on large scale lifting applications where chain slings are required.
The new sizes include 5/8”, 3/4” and 1”, with working load limits up to 20,000 lbs. They are drop forged and load rated. “These hooks were developed to meet the demand for larger size hooks and increased working load limits,” says Jim Storrer, Engineering Manager at Suncor Stainless. “The new I-beam design increases the load bearing surface and offers maximum strength”. They also feature a removable latch and are made from grade 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability, making them ideal for various marine and industrial lifting applications.
