SARASOTA, FLORIDA - January 13, 2010 -- Responding to growing interest and sales worldwide, Sun Hydraulics Corporation has enhanced the design and broadened the line of Corrosion Resistant cartridge valves, and improved the delivery and pricing.
As a result of the changes, overall pricing is down about 10%. Some of the larger valves are down 65%. A few valves are up slightly. Improvements include a change to Lean Duplex Stainless Steel for external parts. This stainless steel is much stronger than 316 and is similarly resistant to corrosion. Today nearly all Sun standard cartridge valves are offered in a corrosion resistant model, and new control options are available.
In addition to the design improvements, manufacturing of Corrosion Resistant Cartridge Valves has been moved to Sarasota Florida, alongside all of its other cartridge valves. Delivery for all cartridge valves is now the same, under the same Standard Order or Priority Service delivery terms.
