Oxford Instruments' Twin-X ULS -Ultra Low Sulfur Analysis below 10mg/kg!
Following the successful introduction of their Twin-X bench top, XRF, multi-purpose analyser in March 2003, Oxford Instruments now launches the next generation of sulfur in road fuels analyser. The Twin-X ULS, with a detection limit of <1mg/kg sulfur is the, first proportional counter EDXRF system meeting the strong criteria for measurement below 10mg/kg sulfur in road fuels.
The Twin-X ULS features a specially designed low background, proportional counter detector with integrated Focus 5 ULBD technology. It has been specifically designed for low sulfur determination in concentration ranges between 3ppm and 150ppm and higher, ideal for the sulfur-free road fuels of the future (<10mg/kg S).
All the original features of the original instrument are retained. In particular, the unique combination of two technologies, menu guided user interface and QC-check functionality for optimum instrument performance monitoring.
