CIT Relay & Switch CS1214 Low Profile, RoHS Compliant Surface Mount Tactile Switch
Maple Grove, Minnesota - CIT RELAY & SWITCH introduces the momentary CS1214 Series surface mount, low profile tactile switch. This newest addition to the CIT switch line is designed with an electrical life of 500,000 cycles using silver-plated, stainless steel contacts and silver-plate brass terminals. Switch electrical rating is 50mA @ 24VDC. The choices of actuation force on the CS1214 are 160gf or 260gf ± 50gf. Actuator travel is .25mm ± .1mm and give an excellent tactile feel.
The CS1214 offers two actuator options: a flat actuator with an exceptionally low profile, 0.8mm, and an extended actuator offering a profile of 1.5mm. The overall switch dimensions of the CS1214 are in a compact, space-saving package of 4.9mm x 4.9mm. The actuator is brass and housing is comprised of 4/6 Nylon. The CS1214 series has an operating and storage temperature ranging from -40°C to 85°C.
