New Intelligent Substation Gateway Brings NERC-CIP Compliance and True Integration to Substations



Quebec City, July 6, 2006 - Cybectec is proud to launch the most advanced substation gateway on the market, the SMP 16/SG Intelligent Substation Gateway.

The latest offspring from Cybectec's well-known line of SMP Substation Gateways, the SMP 16/SG supports all the basic functions of the field-proven SMP gateway, plus advanced functions that take it beyond basic protocol translation and data concentration. Cybectec's out-of-the-box solution to protocol conversion, data concentration and device integration problems can connect to and control more substation equipment than any other communication gateway in the market.
