Small, Lightweight Portable Submersible Dewatering Pump Delivers up to 85 GPM
A small portable 1.4 horsepower pump ideal for dewatering ditches, manholes, small construction sites, small ponds, and basements has been introduced by ITT Flygt Corp., Trumbull, CT. Designated as model Ready 12, the pump, weighing only 25 lbs and with a diameter of 7-1/4", can be carried easily to any site. Despite its small size, the unit reaches 65 ft of head and pumps up to 85 gpm.
Ready 12, with a 2" NPSM discharge, employs an abrasion resistant thermoplastic polyurethane impeller. Its non-corrosive, stainless steel motor housing and shaft, along with its synthetic material body permits it to pump liquids ranging in pH from 3 to 9. The pump features two independent mechanical seals running in FDA approved non-toxic lubricant. The abrasion resistant silicon carbide seal faces are designed for long life and minimal wear. A class F motor operates in air to reduce motor drag.
