Lincoln Electric Introduces a New Submerged Arc Flux for Offshore Welding Applications
Cleveland – Lincoln Electric introduces LincolnweldÂ® 812-SRC™, a submerged arc flux designed for offshore welding and NACE applications. This is a carbon-neutral flux designed for applications requiring high strength after extensive post-weld heat treatment of up to 30 hrs.
• Carbon-neutral flux designed to provide excellent mechanical properties after extended stress-relief
• Industry leading low H4 diffusible hydrogen levels
• Smooth bead appearance and excellent slag release
• Moisture resistant flux and packaging
Welding with LincolnweldÂ® LA-84, a low alloy solid electrode, is recommended. When combined with LincolnweldÂ® LA-84, new LincolnweldÂ® 812-SRC™ will produce weldments with hardness values below 250 Hv10 and less than 1% nickel. This SAW flux is available in a 50 lb. (22.7 kg) plastic bag.
