SAN DIEGO, April 14, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces the introduction of their new lead free, RoHS compliant sub miniature VCO (SMV2165A-LF) in S-band (2118-2218 MHz) featuring typical ultra low phase noise of -90dBc/Hz @10kHz offset. This design has a tuning sensitivity of 148 MHz/V (typ) and provides an output power of 6±3 dBm with 3.3Vdc supply while drawing only 16mA (typical) over the extended operating temperature range of -40º to 85ºC.
SMV2165A-LF comes in Z-COMM's industry standard SUB-L package measuring 0.30 in. x 0.30 in. x 0.08 in. This amazing VCO is ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
