OKW Adds Two New Sizes To Its Beautiful STYLE-CASE Range
OKW has extended its STYLE-CASE range of beautiful high-gloss handheld enclosures with two new sizes – size S (4.84” x 1.88” x 0.94”) and size M (5.78” x 2.20” x 1.06”). These complement the existing size L (6.53” x 2.51” x 1.22”) models.
STYLE-CASE is ideal for remote controls, notably in medical and social care but also in many household, office and industrial electronics applications. Its modern high-gloss finish is pleasant to touch, imparts a high quality user experience and is also easy to keep clean.
STYLE-CASE offers ingress protection up to IP 65 and is assembled using tamper-proof Torx screws – an important feature for medical and wellness applications.
The operating area in the top is recessed to accommodate a membrane keypad or product label. There is an integrated battery compartment for two 1.5V AAA or AA cells, depending on which model is chosen. It is accessible from the outside (via the bottom section) and features a screw-fixed lid.
The enclosures are molded from high quality UV-stable ASA plastic in traffic white (RAL 9016), or black (RAL 9005) PMMA plastic for infrared applications. Both plastics are rated UL 94 HB for flammability. Prices start at $16.
Accessories include battery clips (nickel-plated steel), sealing kits, self-tapping PCB fixing screws and a Torx T10 screwdriver.
