Henkel Loctite Introduces Non-Sagging Speedbonder(TM) Structural Acrylic Adhesive



Rocky Hill, Conn. - September 25, 2003.... Henkel Loctite Corporation has introduced new SPEEDBONDER(TM) H8000, a non-sagging structural acrylic adhesive that fixtures rapidly and delivers impact and peel resistant, high strength bonds on a variety of surfaces including metals and composites.

SPEEDBONDER H8000 is a 100 percent reactive, two-component gel that cures rapidly at room temperature and bonds securely to steel, aluminum, stainless steel, FRP, Xenoy, RTM, Gelcoat and ABS with little or no surface preparation. Capable of filling gaps as large as 0.5 inches, this adhesive offers high elongation and excellent cold temperature impact strength. H8000 forms resilient bonds and maintains its strength over a wide range of temperatures. The product also offers excellent environmental resistance.

As convenient as any one-part system, SPEEDBONDER H8000 is packaged in easy-to-use 490 ml EPS cartridges designed for use with Loctite® dual cartridge dispensers and mix nozzles. The product is also offered in five-gallon pails and 55 gallon drums for high volume and automated assembly operations.
