Aleco Unveils New Strip Door Installation System
CUT TIME IN HALF WITH "THE MAX"
TUSCUMBIA, AL (April, 2002) - Aleco, the largest PVC door manufacturer in the United States, unveiled their brand new strip door installation method at the North American Material Handling & Logistics (NA 2002) show in Detroit, April 8-11. The new method, named "The Max", cuts installation time in half.
The Max installation method functions almost like a button, and features an arrow shaped extension extending from the mounting bar. A small hole at the top of the strip allows the strip to be slipped through the arrow, holding it into place. Strips are easily hung, and they effortlessly swing back and forth as traffic passes through them. In addition, strips can be replaced with in a fraction of the normal time. This installation method truly maximizes the application and versatility of strip doors.
Traditional installation methods require the operator to use bolts to mount strips above an opening, sometimes taking up to an hour or more for a complete installation. With this new method, the entire process is cut more than in half, taking only 20 minutes to complete a typical sized door opening installation.
The Max process can be utilized with all strip products, and is presently available in aluminum. Because the process is so precise, there are no parts to be lost and there is less hardware to hold.
