- Stratos Dashboard for Iridium helps customers manage their global satellite phone service -
BETHESDA, MD, Jan. 24 /-- Stratos Global Corporation, the leading global provider of advanced mobile and fixed-site remote communications solutions, today introduced Stratos Dashboard for Iridium, an online service that enables its Iridium customers to manage their global satellite phone service.
Stratos is the first company to offer its Iridium customers the option to instantly provision their Iridium phones online via a direct interface with Iridium provisioning systems. Stratos Dashboard for Iridium is available now for postpaid Iridium services and is expected to support prepaid Iridium services in the first half of this year. Access and usage of the Stratos Dashboard for Iridium is free to Stratos partners and end users.
Stratos' Iridium customers can become familiar with Stratos Dashboard via a new e-learning module. The module offers users a self-paced overview of the capabilities and set up of Stratos Dashboard for Iridium.
Later this quarter, Stratos expects to introduce the next version of Stratos Dashboard for Iridium, which will feature a complete traffic overview and credit-management options to minimize potential financial risk.
Stratos Dashboard for Iridium is the latest addition to the Stratos Dashboard series of online communications-management services. Stratos Dashboard is used worldwide by all Stratos partners and most customers who deploy BGAN from Stratos. Stratos Dashboard is also expected to be used worldwide by customers who will be deploying SwiftBroadband from Stratos, FleetBroadband from Stratos and Inmarsat Satellite Phone Services from Stratos.
Stratos Dashboard is the cornerstone of The Stratos Advantage value-added services. The Stratos Advantage elevates Stratos' mobile broadband solutions and satellite phone services far above baseline offerings. The value-added services comprising The Stratos Advantage include cost and traffic control and data optimization.
