StratBridge-Tessitura Partnership Gives Performing Arts Centers Real-Time Information they Need to Increase Revenues

StratTix Data Analytics and Tessitura Performing Arts Management Software Integrate Patron and Ticket Sales Information For Organizations Like Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

TUSCON, Ariz., Aug. 7 / - Facing increased competition for patrons' dollars, performing arts centers now have a smart, integrated solution for maximizing ticket sales thanks to a partnership between ticket analysis software provider StratBridge and Tessitura Network, Inc., which provides Tessitura Software® ticket, fundraising and customer relationship management technology to performing arts organizations. The two companies announced this partnership today at the Tessitura Network User Conference at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort and Spa in Tuscon, Ariz.

Symphonies, operas, ballets and other performing arts organizations have increasingly faced competition for consumers' time from a variety of entertainment options. Combining StratBridge's StratTix ticket analysis software with Tessitura's Arts Enterprise Software will give these organizations the tools they need to better understand sales trends and patterns so they can develop effective sales strategies to fill the house. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO) will be the first institution to use the integrated solution to gain a better view of upcoming performances and increase sales.

"We realized we might have been missing some opportunities by relying on spreadsheet data to boost sales," said Charlie Wade, vice president for marketing and concert promotions at ASO. "Tessitura and StratTix let us match individual patrons to specific event attendance, giving us more than one view of buying patterns. Knowing and actually seeing that information will help us develop strategies to increase revenues."

Tessitura's software provides current detailed information about how much donors have given and their previous histories with the organization along with a real-time record of all organizational interactions and transactions. That information, along with up-to-the-minute ticket sales information from Tessitura automatically feeds into StratTix, which analyzes it in real-time for sales teams to review.

StratTix delivers a graphical representation of the theater or arts center that allows sales teams to gain seat-level analyses of sold and available seating. It also enables marketing to review the Tessitura data on patron histories in the context of previous performances to identify trends that may dictate new targeted sales promotions.

"This partnership provides performing arts organizations analytics they haven't had before," said Jack Rubin, president of Tessitura Network. "Combined with the extensive built-in reporting, list building and query tools within Tessitura, this up-to-date analysis of sales patterns, trends and projections gives them a real advantage so they can more effectively plan for, market and execute revenue-generating sales strategies."

Information from the combined solution will enable organizations like ASO to determine how to make the customer experience, including everything from ticket price to post performance receptions, more competitive with other forms of entertainment.

"Until about five years ago, performing arts centers saw patrons purchasing tickets well in advance of the event," said Matt Marolda, StratBridge founder and CEO. "Now they need all of the information they can get, in an automatically generated, easy-to-understand-and-use format so they can make smart decisions that will ultimately drive earlier patron purchase decisions."
