New Rugged Transducer Amplifier

The SENSOTEC Universal Series of in-line strain gage transducer amplifiers now feature a rugged metal enclosure and electrical connections. The new metal enclosure offers NEMA 4 or IP65 protection and an optional quick disconnect metal electrical plug and molded accessory cable assembly.

The Universal In-Line Amplifiers offer a variety of outputs including +/-5 Vdc, +/-10 Vdc, and 4-20 mA output in 2-wire for use with high resistance strain gage bridges, and 3-wire connections for 350 Ohm resistance strain gage bridges.

The field selectable excitation voltage and wide adjustable gain range makes these amplifiers ideal for a mix of transducers with sensitivities from 0.5 to 10 mV/V. Each amplifier includes an internal shunt calibration circuit and resistor. If purchased with a SENSOTEC transducer, the amplifier will be adjusted and set up at the factory for immediate operation.
