Strahman Line Blinds - A Better Way to Isolate

How Does a Non-Spreading Line Blind Work?

One of the major benefits of a non-spreading line blind, Strahman Series 760, is that it creates no pipe stress as the spectacle plate moved into position to seal. Additionally,  since it is installed inline and designed for repeated use, you don't have to worry about pipe sag or misalignment like during installation like a traditional spectacle blind.

The 760 series Line Blind achieves the above benefits by using a cam system to create space between the body flanges for the spectacle plate to slide into position and seal.

Additional Features:

  • Single person operation
  • Time and cost savings in changeovers
  • Zero leakage

As you can see, Strahman 760 Line Blinds are the ideal solution for long-term and repeated isolation of piping, equipment or tanks.
