Stop Sloughing in Its Tracks with Blac-Stat
Our newly re-designed premier material, Blac-Stat, is the resolution of three of the biggest headaches in ESD packaging, namely long effective lifespan, humidity independence and cleanliness.  Historically ESD materials, such as pink poly (anti-static) materials and shielding bags (metalized polyester laminated to pink poly) have suffered with often short and unpredictable lifespans, dependent on manufacturing, shipment and storage conditions. Conductive bags and films were developed to overcome these, however, these bags and films were typically dirty and sloughed carbon particles, contaminating the items being protected with conductive particles. PureStat Engineered Technologies (PureStat) was able to design a structure that effectively locks the conductive materials inside the polymer matrix, allowing for a permanent, ESD safe, humidity independent, non-sloughing films and bags to be produced.
PureStat has engineered Blac-Stat, a permanently conductive film, to be a clean and stable way to protect sensitive electronics and assemblies without having to rely on erratic or potentially harmful volatile chemicals. Blac-Stat will keep providing its permanent ESD protection if it gets wet or if the storage or manufacturing conditions are dry (desert, high elevation, winter, etc.) or if the electronics being protected have been stored or shipped in or through a hot environment. Simply put, Blac-Stat provides dependable protection no matter what the conditions.
