LED Lighted Stop/Stop & Stop/Slow Signs - Model BT10-SS-RT
Lumastrobe, a manufacturer of flashing warning lights, announces the availability of flashing or steady-on, lightweight, bi-directional stop/stop & stop/slow signs. These signs also feature 1" wide strips of 3M red reflective tape on the top and bottom of both sides of the sign.
The BT1O-SS-RT is a low cost signaling and warning device that is achieved by combining our Featherweight Stop Sign and our battery powered LED Baton into a single, hand-held Stop Sign. This combo commands immediate attention, whether in flashing or steady-on mode. Although the Baton does not illuminate the sign, the combination of the reflective tape and the lights effectively brings attention to the sign message. A unique feature is that the Baton (10) LED lights can be seen up to 1/2 mile away from both sides of the sign. This provides extra protection to the user while projecting a warning signal in two directions. Operator fatigue is minimized utilizing this light weight (only 1.72 lbs. with batteries), durable and weather proof signaling device. The Signs are 18" octagon shape of rugged corrugated polypropylene mated with a 21-1/2" Baton having a lighted length of 13". Operating on (2) "D" cell alkaline batteries, the Baton also serves as the sign handle and provides over 300 hours of continuous flashing operation.
Signs without batons but with strips of reflective tape and handles are also available.
Ideal for crossing guards and traffic control personnel in all weather conditions and especially on those overcast days or at twilight when conditions are most dangerous.
