2 New 3.5mm Stereo Jacks 2 & 3 High With Shield

Carson City, NV...CONNECT-TECH PRODUCTS, INC., is now has added two and three position shielded 3.5mm stereo jacks. These jacks have PC99 colors for the proper identification for the PC industry. The two high jack, CTP-JD-3502, has lime green on the top for out put over the light blue for input. The three high jack, CTP-JT-3503, has the top light blue, the middle lime
green, and the bottom light pink for the microphone input. They accept the industry head sets and the speakers deigned for the PC market.

The RFI/EMI shield helps protect interference from transmitting from the unit to the out side world as well as protects the system picking up interference on the cables when they are plugged into the system. The insulated bushing helps to protect from interference from the grounded portion of the system. The plastic is UL 94-V0 for product safety. The contacts are gold plated for low resistance to the plug and the leads for the PCB are tin plated for ease of soldering. The life rating is 5,000 cycles. Both models are available without the shield.

The investment is $0.75 for the two high and $0.82 for the three high in volume production. There is stock for proto-typing and volume product is stock to 8 weeks maximum.
