Ubixon Unveils Latest Design for Company's Innovative Line of Bluetooth Headsets

SEOUL, Korea, June 25 - Ubixon Co., Ltd., a developer of ubiquitous portable consumer devices, today unveiled the latest design in its family of Bluetooth® stereo headset products. The new UBHS-PH2 headset will be the first to feature an Interferometric Modulation (IMOD) display from QUALCOMM.

UBHS-PH2 supports Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR and is one of the industry's first Bluetooth headsets capable of delivering visual information - such as SMS and song titles - all presented as icons on the main screen. The display allows users to view information in a wide variety of viewing environments, including bright sunlight. In addition, the new headset features the XEN 3D Sound solution offering five distinctive sound effects, echo cancellation and noise suppression, to provide a comfortable listening environment.

"We set the audio quality standard for wireless headset products with the introduction of the industry's first 3D sound technology for a Bluetooth headset," said Su-Tab Choi, chief executive officer of Ubixon Co., Ltd. "Now, with our UBHS-PH2 product and its use of the QUALCOMM IMOD display, we are taking the user experience in a new direction. Consumers can now view song titles, volume controls and incoming caller information with great clarity. Our latest design sets a new bar for mobile device viewability."

QUALCOMM MEMS displays are a breakthrough in technology that delivers substantial performance benefits over competing display technologies. The reflective displays, based on IMOD technology, require no backlighting and can be viewed in bright sunlight and in a wide range of environments. Moreover, these displays offer a significant reduction in power consumption as compared to other display technologies, extending device battery life and enabling new features.
