New High Torque 2-Phase PK-P Stepping Motors



Torrance, CA - Oriental Motor USA Corp. introduces the new P-type models of the PK Series of 2-phase hybrid stepping motors. These motors achieve the highest torque available for a 1.65" (42mm) square sized hybrid stepping motor. Their compact and lightweight design offers flexibility in application and design.

The smaller motors (1.54" long) produce 69.4 ounce-inches of holding torque when driven by a bipolar driver and 55.2 ounce-inches of holding torque when driven by a unipolar driver. The longer (2.32" long) provide 133 ounce-inches of holding torque when driven with a bipolar driver and 106.2 ounce-inches of holding torque when driven with a unipolar driver. The rated input current is 0.85 amps per phase (bipolar) and 1.2 amps per phase (unipolar). An integral 6-pin plug-in connector receptacle provides a fast and reliable connection.
