New High Torque Stepper Motor Saves Space And Cost


DOVER, NH - EADmotors' new size 34 high torque stepper motor delivers increased torque output in a smaller package size. This compact motor is ideally suited to replace conventional size 42 stepper motors in applications where size, power output and cost are important factors.

Designed to maximize torque-to-package size, the motor delivers up to 1200 oz-in. of holding torque wrapped in a compact 3.38-in. square package size. Standard motor lengths measure 2.60, .3.78, or 4.96-inches total. High-grade steel lamination construction provides extremely low core loss, resulting in lower
operating temperature when run at high speed. Permanently lubricated precision ball bearings ensure high motor reliability and increase service life.

Engineered options to suit specific requirements include rapid prototyping, shaft modifications in various lengths with special ends, wires, cables, connectors, etc.

The NEMA size 34 high torque stepper motor is recommended in applications where load capacities are critical to precision system operation or where reflected load inertia requires higher torque ratings.
