The 0.9º NEMA size 17 High Accuracy motor offers excellent step accuracy and is now available in a 0.92" length.

The size 17 motor is now available in four lengths; 0.92", 1.10", 1.38" and 1.54". The motor is capable of a holding torque that ranges from 12 oz-in to 30 oz-in, depending on the length of the motor. This high accuracy stepper motor is very lightweight. The inertia that is emitted by the motor is quite low; between 0.07 oz-in² to 0.13 oz-in². Unipolar and bipolar windings are available, at no extra cost, in order to allow for the torque and speed required to accommodate your application.

The High Accuracy size 17 motor is ideal for microstepping control and is recommended wherever accuracy is an issue. Some specific examples where you may need a high accuracy motor include but are not limited to the following applications: automation, medical and surveillance cameras.
