WOOD DALE, IL - Danaher Motion introduces Portescap 42S048 Can Stack Step Motors. Available with unipolar or bipolar construction and sintered bronze sleeve bearings as standard, these motors feature a 7.5-degree step angle and provide up to 7.2 oz-in of holding torque. Windings can be optimized to satisfy specific application requirements.

"These miniature step motors are specifically engineered for applications with a small mechanical envelope. As a result, they are well suited to medical equipment applications such as analyzers, pumps and scanners, as well as innumerable factory automation applications," says Dave Beckstoffer, Product Manager.
