New High Torque Motors Feature Optimized Magnetics for Maximum Performance
ROCKFORD, IL - Pacific Scientific, a Danaher Motion Company, introduces T-Seres NEMA 23 high torque step motors. These motors provide the highest torque per frame size available (up to 380 oz-in, 2.7 N-m), making them a high performance alternative to more expensive servomotors, or other stepper designs.
Improved torque linearity provides high peak torque capability for faster acceleration and more torque for intermittent duty applications. These 1.8° step motors have high accuracy (.036° typical), for very precise load positioning. The rugged "housingless" square frame optimizes the magnetic circuit for maximum performance in a small envelope, reducing space required for the motor, reducing the input power required, and providing extremely smooth microstepping performance.
T-Series stepper motors are available in standard and custom configurations for easy, cost-effective system integration. Standard options include leaded or terminal box construction for enhanced operation and protection in demanding environments, as well as encoders and encoder mounting provisions for optimized control schemes.
