Step Motors offer holding torques from 45-83 oz-in.

When used with half step driver bipolar model No. R208, step motor model 4118L achieves running torques of 56 oz-in. at 3,300 half-steps (21 W out) with input of 24 Vdc and 2 A per phase.

The New Super Torque Size 17 Step Motor



Lin Engineering of Santa Clara, CA introduces the new Super Torque Size 17 (1.66" sq.) hybrid step motor featuring a family of 3 axial lengths that supply holding torques ranging from 45 ounce-inches to an incredible 83 ounce-inches. The shorter 1.8° per step hybrid step motor model (P/N 4118S-02) develops 45 ounce-inches of holding torque in the shortest 1.34" long package. The longest Lin Engineering model (P/N 4118L-01) provides 83 ounce inches of holding torque in a 1.89" long package.

When teamed with the Lin Engineering half step driver bipolar model no. R208, the 4-lead Super Torque Size 17 hybrid step motor, model 4118L, achieves running torques of 56 ounce-inches at 3300 half-steps (21 watts out) with an input of 24 vdc and 2 amps per phase.
