Manncorp's New Model 5500 Benchtop Stencil Printer Provides True Vertical Separation Of PCB And Stencil

An improved version of Manncorp's Model 5500 Benchtop Stencil Printer incorporates an innovative design that provides true vertical separation of the stencil from the PCB, prior to the lifting of the stencil frame. This movement of the stencil from the PCB is considered by industry sources to be an essential feature for ultra fine-pitch solder paste printing and, until now, has usually only been available in much higher priced automatic or semi-automatic equipment.

For added versatility, the 5500 printer includes tooling for double-sided boards and dual squeegees mounted to high precision, linear slide bearings for repeatable side-to-side squeegee motion controlled by the operator. Extremely consistent board-to-board print quality is aided by squeegees with stainless steel blades (rubber blades are also included) that maintain specified height and pressure. Self-locking, dial adjustments allow quick and easy X, Y, Z, and R axis settings. Raising and lowering of the stencil frame is pneumatically controlled for operator ease.

The maximum print area of the 5500 is 500 mm x 550 mm (20" x 22") and maximum frame size is 600 mm x 600 mm (24" x 24"). The 5500's robust construction contributes to a net weight of approximately 75 Kg (165 lbs.). For more information, access manncorp.com/stencil-printers/5500/, or contact sales@manncorp.com.
