Appleton Introduces New ETP Line of EMT Fittings, Proudly Made in the U.S.A.


SKOKIE, IL, June 3, 2002 - Appleton, a leading provider of professional-grade electrical equipment for industrial and commercial locations, today announced a new line of Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) fittings manufactured in the U.S.A. that help electrical contractors connect lengths of conduit faster, more efficiently and at less cost.

The new ETP® line of steel connectors and couplings come in four styles, in trade sizes ranging from 1/2-inch to 4 inches are available through Appleton distributors. The easy-to-install fittings are UL/CSA Listed to assure the utmost performance and safety.

...Type 4000 EMT Steel Set-Screw Connectors feature heavy steel walls with a protective zinc plating, along with pre-set/pre-staked set-screws, an NPS male hub thread, and an optional insulated throat. The connectors are 3Concrete-Tight2 when taped by the contractor.

...Type 5000 EMT Steel Set-Screw Couplings have heavy steel walls with zinc plating. They feature pre-set/pre-staked set-screws and are 3Concrete-Tight2 when taped.

...Type 6000 EMT Steel Compression Couplings are UL/CSA Listed 3Concrete-Tight2 without taping, plus feature a rugged steel body and nut with zinc plating.
