Split Steel Beams without the Need to Straighten the T's

LL Brown, Inc. -- July 1, 2008 LL Brown, Inc. has answered the call of the structural steel industry and developed a rotary shear or Steel Beam Splitter. This powerful, dependable workhorse was designed to shear a wide flange into two "T" shaped beams without the need to straighten the beams once they are split. The Beam Splitter is considerably faster than gas cutting. It can cut any beam up to 40 inches wide and up to 9/16" web thickness. The guide rail exit system which leads the beam out of the cutting blades keeps the beam supported and centered while it exits the shear. The main control is wired to accommodate a preheat/quenching system, which is supplied by the user. Contact: Richard at (717) 766-1885 ext. 117.
