Nicholson Announces New Strainer and Blowdown Valve on Liquidator Universal Mount Steam Traps
Nicholson Steam Trap of Walden, New York announces the new Strainer and Blowdown Valve Option for Liquidator Universal Mount Steam Traps, the first rebuildable thermostatic steam trap that conforms to the two bolt universal swivel mount. The innovative design of the Liquidator reduces installation costs and allows the option of either rebuilding or replacing failed traps (utilizing our steam trap replacement kits) without having to break piping. The Nicholson Liquidator also attaches to other manufacturers' universal mount steam trap bodies for easy replacement of existing traps in the field.
The Liquidator is a thermostatic steam trap - the most efficient type trap because it provides zero steam loss during normal operation. The Liquidator is the first universal mount steam trap to have capacities tested and published in accordance with ASME standard PTC 39.1. The Liquidator features three orifice sizes and boasts higher capacities than competing traps which allows it to be used where other traps cannot meet the requirements.
