Operators Get a Grip with The Edge,(TM) New from Polar Ware
SHEBOYGAN, WISCONSIN-Foodservice operators and their kitchen staff are taking hold of their steam table pans in a whole new way with Polar Ware's recent introduction of The Edge.(TM)
As part of its innovative design, The Edge(TM) is formed with a half-inch raised rim all the way around the pan, providing a means to grab, hold and handle the pan for setting it into or removing it from a 12" x 20" well. This Grip-N-Lift(TM) feature eliminates the need to remove the pan by prying it up with a utensil and makes for much safer handling around hot steam.
At the same time, the rim or "edge" design also works like a steel I-beam, engineered for even the toughest commercial environments. Nearly indestructible, the Grip-N-Lift(TM) edge promotes a long lasting pan-to-table seal for optimum energy efficiency and a corner strength that, when impact tested in an independent lab, has proven to be twice as strong as traditional steam table pans.
