The 100:1 rangeability and 95% accuracy of 'G' Series Regulators from Leslie Controls make them the clear choice for institutional steam systems that would otherwise require two regulators to handle widely ranging steam flows.
Water heating, absorption chillers and building heat create seasonal and daily demands that require low turndown on some days and high flow on "design days". One Leslie 'G' Series Regulator, with it's 100:1 rangeability, handles both extremes. Typically, other regulators have a rangeability of 20:1. Therefore, a two valve 1/3-2/3 system must be used.
