Summerville, SC - July 1, 2004 -- LINQ Industrial Fabrics, Inc., the global leader in static dissipative FIBC fabrics, announced today product improvements designed to broaden the applications of their CROHMIQ® static protective Type D FIBC fabrics. LINQ® reformulated the proprietary fabric coating so that the coating has permanent properties and is humidity independent. The components of the new coating cannot wash off or migrate to the surface or contaminate the bulk product inside the FIBC. The improved fabrics can be used to produce FIBC for bulk storage or transport of dry food, and comply with the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and all applicable food additive regulations of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The outstanding protection of CROHMIQ fabrics against incendiary electrostatic discharges is unaffected by the new coating formulation. Echeverria went on to say, "We are the leaders in research and development in Type D technology and are committed to the continuous improvement of our fabrics. The technical expertise and world class R&D facilities at LINQ allowed us to identify and thoroughly test this new coating formulation over the past year. Our CROHMIQ fabric has performed superbly over many years with a safety record second to none and we are very pleased to be able to build on this legacy and offer this enhanced product to the market place."

The improved CROHMIQ fabric supercedes the previous CROHMIQ fabric and will phase in immediately to help satisfy existing and future orders for CROHMIQ fabric. LINQ expects the transition to the new fabric to take no more than 90 days. A letter documenting the compliance of the new CROHMIQ fabric with Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and all applicable food additive regulations of the FDA is available on our web site at www.crohmiq.com.
