AUSTIN, Texas, April 7, 2004 < The Fieldbus Foundation today announced the release of its new AT-446 FOUNDATION(TM) fieldbus "H1 Starter Kit," a complete, cost-effective solution for automation equipment suppliers seeking a "Fast Track to Fieldbus." The starter kit is designed to help suppliers accelerate their H1 fieldbus device development projects.

The first all-in-one package of its kind, the AT-446 H1 Starter Kit includes all of the tools and documentation needed to develop H1 devices, compliant with the open, industry-standard FOUNDATION fieldbus protocol. The starter kit is a complete development kit in a value-based starter package offering 35 percent savings over separate, individually purchased components.
