PCI-2010-CPCI64 64 bit board has two SG2010 PCI-to-StarFabric bridge devices and two 2.5 Gbps full-duplex StarFabric serial links available via RJ45 connectors. PCI AUTOMATION INC. Introduces Starfabric Bridge Board


Antioch, CA. , Dietzenbach, Germany -July 02, 2002 -- PCI automation Inc. Has released a Starfabric compatible CompactPCI board with add on PMC site.

The PCI-2010-CPCI64 is a 64-bit CompactPCI form-factor board that uses the SG2010 PCI-to-StarFabric device and can be used for the following purposes:

- Evaluation of the SG2010 operation and features

- Evaluation and development of application specific code for the SG2010 and other Starfabric compatible devices

- Evaluation and development of application specific code for use with the onboard 64-bit PMC site.

- StarFabric system design

- Use as a node card in a PICMG 2.17 application

Main Features

The SG201O-CPCI64 evaluation board has the following features:

- Two (2) SG2010 PCI-to-StarFabric bridge devices

- Both bridge devices are PCI Rev. 2.2 compliant; one is 64bit, 66MHz CPCI connected and the other is 64-bit, 33MHz PMC site connected

- Two (2) 2.5Gbps full-duplex StarFabric serial links available through standard RJ45 connectors available from each SG2010 (build option as to whether links are routed to backplane or RJ45 connectors)

- Eight (8) LVDS serial link status LEDs for each SG2010

- Register configuration pre-load serial ROM for each SG2010

- Configuration DIP switches and jumpers

- JTAG access header
