Work Order Tracking Improves with Standard Time® 2018: Custom, Bespoke, Fabrication Tracking Software

LAS VEGAS, NV, April 9, 2018 – Scoutwest, Inc, the developers of Standard Time®, have improved work order tracking with the addition of key new features in Standard Time 2018, which released last week to manufactures in North America and Europe. New features include a Resource Requirements bar chart used for shop floor headcount, Gantt chart drag-and-drop improvements, and auto-updating Resource Allocation charts for work order scheduling.

Manufacturers use the new project management features to schedule work orders on the shop floor. Once slotted for production, orders are tracked with barcodes and RFID’s. Results are visible on an “airport-style” screen on the shop floor. Manufacturers learn the status of projects with one glance at the big screen status board.

Every manufacturing project requires management – some small, some large. Slotting projects for production, and comparing actuals to estimates is a hard job that requires special software. That software is provided by Scoutwest in the form of Standard Time.
