NORD Gear Upgrades All Standard Efficiency Motors To Inverter/Vector Duty Performance
Waunakee, WI - NORD Gear Corporation announces that now all of their Standard Efficiency Motors have been upgraded to high-performance Inverter/Vector Duty designs. NORD Gear has optimized its motors specifically for demanding applications while yielding superior performance with current inverter drive systems, and enhance the function in non-inverter installations as well.
NORD Inverter/Vector Duty Motors:
o Conform with NEMA MG-1-1998 Section 31.4.4.2,
o Include Class H magnetic wire insulation and IP55 enclosure protection,
o Are Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC),
o At speed range of 5:1, offer constant torque from 60 Hz to 12 Hz,
o At speed range of 20:1, offer constant torque from 80 Hz to 4 Hz,
o Offer optional speed range of 10:1 with constant torque from 60 Hz to 6 Hz, or speed range of 1000:1 with constant torque from 60 Hz to 0 Hz,
o Are Underwriters Laboratories Recognized, CSA Approved, and European Union CE Certified.
