Misumi Introduces New Line of Welded & Cast Stand-Offs

SCHAUMBURG, IL, JANUARY 3, 2005 MISUMI USA, INC., a leader in providing custom mechanical components to the factory automation industry, has launched a new line of welded and cast stand-offs that are available in carbon steel and aluminum for most industrial applications, as well as in stainless steel for medical and semiconductor automation processes.

The stand-offs are commonly used to mount peripheral devices used to automate an industrial process. Because more than one stand-off frequently is required in an automation cell, MISUMI USA takes great care in assuring precise mounting planes between the stand-offs, with parallelism accurate within .002-inch over a 6-inch run.

Like all MISUMI products, the new welded and cast stand-offs can be purchased either in standard sizes or in configurable sizes to 0.010-inch increments. Modifications such as riser plates, custom hole patterns or surface treatments are available to meet specific design requirements.

MISUMI fully configurable welded and cast stand-offs are available in 6 days for as little as $59.70 per piece.

The welded stand-offs are featured in the new Version 2 of the MISUMI "Custom Mechanical Components For Assembly Automation" inch catalog. The catalog is free to customers who call 800-681-7475 (local 847-843-9105). It can be ordered at www.misumiusa.com, or by e-mailing inquire@misumiusa.com.
