Stanchion mounting collars offered in low-cost plastic or polished stainless steel for securely attaching virtually anything to rails and tubes are being introduced by Stafford Manufacturing Corp. of Wilmington, Massachusetts.

The Stafford Stanchion Collar features a hinge design and a smooth interior surface for mounting to a rail or tube without damage and has a countersunk hole that accepts a screw for attaching a ditty box, beverage holder, or almost anything else. It is now offered in a new molded plastic version as well as a low-profile version machined from stainless steel.

Available in popular tube sizes, Stafford's Stanchion Collars eliminate tape and bulky attachment blocks. They come in packages of two and can be combined for mounting grills, shelves, and other accessories. Applications include yachts, boats, RVs, motor homes, and campers. Custom versions can be developed for OEM customers and major marine and outdoor distributors.
