High-Bright Stainless Steel Monitors Ideal for Washdown
A new line of 15" and 18" stainless-steel flat-panel monitors from CyberResearch® is rated at NEMA 4X/IP65, so it's ideal for locations that require frequent washdowns. These 250-nit monitors with optional resistive touchscreens are sealed to the panel with a compression collar and high-quality elastomeric gasket.
The stainless-steel front bezel and elastomeric sealing system make the MPP 15 and MPP 18 monitors highly resistant to the corrosives most commonly found in food processing, pharmaceutical, industrial, and most laboratory environments. When properly mounted into a sealed panel, these monitors from CyberResearch, Inc. are rated at NEMA 4X/IP65, so they can be washed down with hose-directed water.
MPP monitors are not painted. The steel chassis and stainless-steel bezel are surface treated, and the aluminum rear cover is clear anodized for complete corrosion resistance. This rugged construction makes the displays resistant to shock loads as high as 30g half-sine, for 11 ms maximum duration.
The 250-nit displays offer high contrast and low black luminance for excellent visibility, even in brightly lit areas. Backlight MTBF is 50,000 hours on the 18" monitor, 35,000 hours on the 15" unit.
