Stainless Steel Collars Designed For Harsh Environments



A new, standard line of 316 stainless steel shaft collars for applications involving harsh chemicals, corrosives, or frequent wash-downs is being introduced by Stafford Manufacturing Corp. of Wilmington, Massachusetts.

Stafford 316 Stainless Steel Collars are now available off-the-shelf in set-screw, 1-pc, and 2-pc styles in ½" through 1" I.D. sizes for applications requiring exposure to harsh chemicals, corrosives or frequent wash-downs. They can also be supplied as specials with threaded bores, mounting holes, and other custom features such as hinges, in sizes up to 10" I.D.

Suitable for use in drive systems, mixing equipment, flow control instruments, and related machinery, Stafford 316 Stainless Steel Collars are supplied with standard 18-8 stainless steel fasteners or optional 316 SST. Applications include medical, pharmaceutical, laboratory, semiconductor,
food processing, marine, wastewater, and water purification equipment.
