Acnode's Fully IP65 and Fanless 19-inch Stainless Steel Panel PC
Acnodes Corp., a leading manufacturer of industrial and embedded computer platforms and technologies, announced today the launch of a new fan-less embedded Panel PC, the PCH8190. The PCH8190 features a complete I/O interface with low power consumption processor of Celeron Bay Trail-M N2930 1.83GHz Quad-Core, computing faster and better multitasking applications. With chipset of Atom SoC Integrate, memory of DDR3 SO-DIMM, and storage of Mini PCIe SSD, it creates immense storage capabilities.
The Panel PC built of IP65 rated rugged stainless steel enclosure with 5-wire resistive type 19-inch touch screen offers great protection while operating in the most extreme environments. The IP65 rated enclosure allows the device to withstand damaging dust and water sprays directed from all angles. The stainless steel coating performs most ideally in food processing plants, factories, building automation, hospitals, chemical exposure facilities, and any industrial application that requires a rough environment.
The PCH8190 designed with 19” LCD panel displays a brilliance resolution of 1280 x 1024 and contrast ratio 1000:1. The low power consumption 5-wire resistive type touch screen provides protection from contaminants and liquids and can be activated by virtually any objects such as finger, gloved hands, and stylus. The corrosive resistance, water resistance, and chemical resistance abilities are also heat resistance and can withstand operating temperature from 32°F to 113°F.
The fully IP65 rated feature includes the cables and connectors as well. The connectors include six USB 2.0 (four USB internal), two RJ45 Gigabit LAN (one RJ45 internal), four RS232 (three RS232 internal), and one 12V DC power input. The expansion slot supports a Mini PCIe SSD. A built in ALC886 HD Audio Codec is available. For the power supply, it accepts a 12V DC power input (lockable power jack) with power consumption of 72W and external power supply 80W with power cord.
