This cost-effective, wall mountable automatic power factor correction bank includes a microprocessor based controller which automatically adjusts to system load conditions – thus maintaining the desired power factor. StacoVAR® mini extended kvar range is ideal for many industrial and commercial environments which rely on inherently inefficient motors for air conditioning/heating and air movement, pumps, manufacturing or warehousing equipment and more. These motors typically produce poor power factor which can manifest itself in higher utility bills due to penalties and surcharges for poor power factor. Models are available from 11.5 to 28 kvar at 208V, 15 to 37.5 kvar at 240V, and 28 to 75 kvar at 480V.
