Stäubli Robotics to Showcase New Solutions for the Food and Packaging Industries at Pack Expo

DUNCAN, SC - Stäubli Robotics will showcase the latest flexible automated solutions for the food and packaging industries at Pack Expo, North America's largest packaging and processing show, October 28-31 in Chicago.

At booth N-4760, Stäubli will display the TP80 fast picker robot capable of over 200 picks per minute. This extremely fast robot is designed to handle operations with small parts (under 1 kg). The TP80 is particularly well-suited for packaging applications in various fields such as food, pharmaceuticals, photovoltaics and cosmetics.

Also, there will be the TX60 HE which features the only robotic design that can handle the sanitation procedures, cleaning processes and wet environments required by the food industry. Features include an IP67 enclosed arm structure with pressurization reinforced seals and an IP67 wrist capable of low pressure immersion and resistance to corrosion.

An additional highlight of the Stäubli Robotics Expo includes the TS60 SCARA with conveyor tracking, demonstrating picking and placing candies. The Stäubli line of SCARA robots is widely used by packaging machinery companies for high speed lines to pick and place products into trays, cartons, and various blister packs.

Attendees are encouraged to stop by booth N-4760 to meet the Stäubli team and be present for revolutionary products and the next generation of automation.
