AB241L Series Locators Extend into Strut to Secure Washers While Tightening Hardware

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Dec. 29, 2006 - Thomas & Betts (NYSE: TNB) reduced the time to install bolts in strut assemblies with the expansion of its line of square washers to include the AB241L Series Located Square Washer for Kindorf® and Superstrut®. The new AB241L Series Located Square Washer features locators that extend down into the strut to secure the washer in place while tightening bolts, threaded rod and other fasteners. The AB241 and AB241L Series of standard square washers also were redesigned to fit both 1 1/2-inch Kindorf and 1 5/8-inch Superstrut channels.

Both AB241 and AB241L Series square washers are available in GoldGalv®, SilverGalv(TM) and hot-dipped galvanized finishes, as well as Type 304 and Type 316 stainless steel.
