AMPMODU Square Coninuous Posts Accoommodate Virtually Any Centerline
HARRISBURG, Pa., December 21 - AMPMODU Square Continuous Posts from Tyco Electronics can be inserted into printed circuit boards in virtually any configuration. The post is constructed of brass and comes packaged on a reel. Posts are notched at the desired length and located end-to-end. A carrier strip is not required. AMPMODU Square Continuous Posts are available in 0.025 and 0.045 post sizes with lengths of .400 to 1.0 inches available in 0.010 inch increments. The posts are also available with a star feature that provides extra retention to the PCB. The product can be used in building systems and commercial/home equipment such as vending and coin operated machines, security systems, lightinig systems and environmental controls. Household appliances, power tools and "brown" goods like garage door openers are other potential applications.
AMPMODU Square Continuous Posts are available with tin or gold plating and can be inserted with popular insertion equipment like the AMP Comp-U-Sertor II machine 122300- 1 using the developed modular head 90464 1-1. The 0.025 square post is rated for up to 3 amps while the 0.045 square post is rated for 7 amps.
