New Sprayable, Solvent-Based VOC Compliant Adhesive with No HAP's
St. Paul, Minnesota - June 3, 2002 - 3M introduces a sprayable, solvent-based adhesive that contains no Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP's) and meets the 250 grams/liter Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) limit in South Coast Air Quality Management District
Rule 1168.
Scotch-Grip(TM) Industrial Adhesive 4491 features a proprietary rubber/resin blend that resists weathering, water, fuel, oil, and plasticizers for exceptional durability and reduced risk of failure. It is fast drying for increased productivity and may be heat cured to improve physical properties. Broad substrate adhesion reduces the need for various adhesives. Use to bond wood, metal, vinyl, foam, leather, fabrics, rubbers, FRP, acrylic, nylon, and many other plastics. Easily adapts to existing applications and equipment: brush, spray, or flow.
