Binks Introduces the Comet 4/12(TM) Pump for Superior Application of Today's Coatings

(June 2008) Glendale Heights, IL - Designed for small and medium wood shops, the new Binks Comet 4/12(TM) pump is part of a low pressure air-assisted airless system that is versatile, durable, and efficient.

The Comet 4/12 is designed with an air powered 12:1 two-ball piston pump that is capable of producing 0.4 GPM at 60 cycles per minute. Created to apply today's water-borne and solvent-borne coatings, the pump is specifically designed to spray wood coatings such as stains, lacquers, and sealers at fluid outlet pressures from 300 psi up to 1200 psi.

Features of the Comet 4/12 include a balanced fluid section for a steady, even coating flow and a hard chrome coated stainless steel pump rod. The large displacement (27 cm³ or 0.91 oz) per stroke allows for reduced pump rod speed and improved durability.

Packaged with the industry leading Binks AA1500 Spray Gun, the Comet 4/12 is available in wall-mount, cart-mount, or tripod-mount outfits. These outfits are equipped with everything needed to set up and start spraying quickly.
