New, Readily Available SV SprayDry® Nozzles
Wheaton, IL, USA - Spraying Systems Co. introduces its new SV Series SprayDry nozzles which are ideal for use in the production of dairy products, nutraceuticals, powdered beverages, detergents and food. The nozzles offer comparable performance to other more costly swirlchamber-style nozzles and are available for delivery in less than two weeks.
The SV SprayDry nozzles produce a hollow cone spray with uniform drop size distribution. To extend production runs, the nozzles are designed to resist clogging and constructed of a special tungsten carbide material that offers better wear resistance than competitive nozzles.
Assembly and disassembly of the SV nozzles are quick and easy and will reduce maintenance time. All components are securely retained in the cap for quick and easy handling in the dryer. Hand-tight design eliminates the need for special tools.
More than 700 swirlchamber and orifice combinations are available enabling users to match performance to their exact requirements. Flow rates range from 15.6 to 968 gph at 1000 psi (59.7 to 3692 lph at 70 bar). Spray angles range from 55° to 90°. Free validation samples are available upon request to qualified users.
